The area was developed mostly post World War II and is situated on level, valley bottom land and the hillsides of the Southern Ridge separating Greenbrae from San Rafael. The weather is moderate and sunny, nearby schools are highly rated, both public and private, and commutes are easy to San Francisco and the East Bay including a ferry commute to San Francisco from the nearby Larkspur Ferry terminal.
